Southern Wares
On the 27th of First Seed a little shop for exotic import wares opened on Dragonrock’s market square. The Southern Wares is owned and operated by the Iliac Bay Shipping Ltd., a Koeglin Village based trade company known for transport of wares, mail and persons around the Iliac Bay and down south to Anvil. The store is their most remote outlet offering everyday items such as spices, silks, pottery, glasswares, carpets, pigments, teas, wines and jewellery.
It’s open from the ninth morning to the fifth evening hour every day. Louise, a local girl is your friendly salesperson to show the offered wares and tell their story and still looks for more keen hands to help her
The cosy interior is fairly lit and the air heavy with the sweet-spicy scent of Elsweyrian incense smoldering on the counter. Colourful spices, exotic fruits, fine silks, lacquered pottery and masterly woven carpets on display remind every visitor of far away lands immediately. The items are decorated in a way that doesn’t mix colours too wildly in an effort to not strain the shopper’s eyes too much and a big proud banner of the city of Senchal hangs resplendent in the centre.
