Chapter 5 - Road of trouble

On 15th of Hearthfire maryelle Orinth took off with an escort towards Cyrodiil. With the help of Portal Master Tamita a portal was opened to quicken the journey to Chorrol. But somewhere along the way something went horribly wrong and they ended up in the wilderness.

Confused by the mislocation of the portal the group walked towards the road and quickly identified that they were indeed in Colovia, not too far from Chorrol in fact. It could have been a couple of hours walking by foot!

Suddenly they attacked by altmer, trying to kill Maryelle. Several arrows flew through the sky but did not hit their intended target. Akamon, Militant office recruit, got injured in the fight against the mer. Maryelle conjured a spear and impaled the archer from the distance.

After a bloody battle knight Arthur and Helga were sent ahead to scout for other possible enemies. Now only Akamon remained at her side for now and he accompanied Maryelle as they walked towards Chorrol. They were greeted by a Daggerfall Covenant soldier, after a small conversation he brought them both to their commander in a refurnished inn that they were using as a headquarters.

Once inside the commander requested Mary to show some identification that she was an Orinth, after showing her sigil of her house he was content and nodded. He informed her of the happenings around Chorrol. They were suddenly interrupted when the soldier entered the room again to inform them that one of Maryelle's scouts found their way to Chorrol and after confirmation that it was indeed one of her men they let Sir Withmore in.

After a few words being spoken between each member and of course also the commander regarding the last couple of skirmishes of Morgan Orinth, the commander informed Maryelle that soon she would be able to identify her brother's remains. Also they were informed that the other Orinth family members, that were burned at Castle Trueborn. This would be her eldest brother Frederic and his family; his wife and three children...

After that information the commander offered them a night to recover and the healers would come for Akamon soon. Maryelle simply walked up to her room that was provided for her and went to sleep.
