After the death of his wife, Lady Orinth, the count has been in most distraught. In his grief he had left the care of the house in the hands of his appointed steward: The imperial, Bazanov Matvy. While he, himself, locked himself away in his room with no one being allowed to see him but his steward.
His cousin, Maryelle Orinth, has been asked to be head of the office of Lore and to help with the business of the house.
Though unfortunately the steward and Maryelle do not seem to get along and have been seen arguing on multiple accounts over what seemed to be trivial matters.
It left the house rather divided when the house was divided to whom they should really listen to. The appointed steward, or the relative of the count...
It was on Tirdas, the 23th of Sun's Height, one of the more warmer days of summer and the people of the house simply went about their business before they got surprised with a sudden appearance of their Count. Though the count did not seem to respond to the words that were being spoken to him by his cousin or his staff. They had to watch helplessly as the count simply threw himself over the balcony.
Shock and grief filled the house and it was a confusion on the reasoning of his death. The newest militant Snow, a Kahjiit was first to run up to the balcony in hope of finding clues of a killer. But unfortunately he found none.
When the steward as Maryelle questioned the guards at the door, they found that they seemed to have lost track of time. It was unsure if the guards were either lazy or had their senses dulled by a form of magic...
Maryelle Orinth found a letter under the Lord's pillow of his bed, which was his last will and testament. Also an apology letter for taking his own life.
Now the bells have rung, announcing the death of the count to all to hear and the head house mage, Maryelle Orinth, shall be dealing with the funeral arrangements for the count....
